When you browse the hanging displays in beauty boutiques, aren't most compact cosmetics encased in rigid, transparent plastic blister packs? While conceptualising the hanging packaging for this lipstick, our team pondered: must these fast-moving display packs inevitably generate non-degradable plastic waste? Could we create a design that elegantly showcases the product on the shelf whilst remaining entirely burden-free for the environment?

And so, the creation before you was born. As you can see, we completely abandoned plastic; we didn't even rely on traditional laminated cardboard. Instead, we pushed the craft of one-piece moulded pulp to its absolute limits. The entire packaging presents an incredibly clean, understated creamy white hue—free from any excess impurities, radiating an unembellished, primal purity.

What excited me most as a designer is the "blossoming flora" on the front of the card. We didn't use a single drop of coloured ink. Instead, we harnessed the natural malleability of the moulded pulp to directly press an exquisitely detailed, vintage floral bas-relief. When you hold it in your hands, your fingertips can clearly trace the three-dimensional undulations of the vines, leaves, and petals. It is no longer a cheap, disposable shell; rather, it feels like a delicate piece of unglazed white plaster relief art. Echoing this is the lipstick tube nestled closely beside it—it shares the same warm, matte texture, simply debossed with the brand name "GREEN VALLEY", using minimalist modernity to perfectly balance the classical intricacy of the floral patterns.

Structurally, the design is highly ingenious, reminiscent of a "folded letter". The moulded pulp folds neatly along the central crease, gently embracing and securely locking the lipstick in place. This not only provides flawless cushioning but also transforms the entire unboxing process into an intuitive and deeply soothing experience.

We hope that when someone takes this lipstick from the shelf and gently parts these two pieces of naturally textured pulp, they experience more than just a simple purchase. It should feel like receiving an eco-friendly gift imbued with a romantic, classical aura. And when its purpose is fulfilled, these "blossoms" blooming on paper will seamlessly return to the earth, leaving no trace behind. This, in our hearts, is the pure aesthetic of the future.
