A Cavity Cut for a Square Barrel

The lidded pulp block holds a rectangular cavity sized for a square lipstick barrel rather than a round tube, cut deep enough that the barrel's engraved wood-grain panel sits flush with the opening instead of poking above it. A copper-toned push-up mechanism extends from the barrel's top when twisted, and the cavity leaves clearance above the barrel for that extension without needing a taller lid. Both pulp ends carry debossed Chinese characters and English text pressed directly into the fiber.

A Removable Band Over Debossed Ends

A separate paper belly band wraps around the closed block's midsection, printed with a gold-foil plum blossom mark and product name over a brown ground, distinct from the plain debossed text on the pulp ends themselves. Net weight and a barcode sit lower on the band, printed rather than debossed since fine barcode lines need sharper resolution than pulp fiber can hold. The band slides off without adhesive, so the block underneath stays reusable once the band is removed.

Swappable Graphics, Fixed Shell

A separate insert card, cut with a curved notch at the top rather than a plain rectangle, carries a red-ground plum branch illustration and brand text, packaged alongside rather than fixed inside the pulp cavity. Because the belly band and insert card are both printed pieces separate from the molded block, this molded pulp lipstick packaging can swap seasonal graphics between runs while the debossed pulp shell and cavity shape stay unchanged.
