Pulp molding is a new and popular molded pulp packaging method. It works for many products. Examples include electronics, food and drinks, porcelain, and daily household items. These cases show that pulp molding has many uses in modern packaging.

1. Eco-Friendly Pastry Gift Boxes

This seasonal pastry gift box follows traditional Chinese style. It takes ideas from Hanfu clothing (traditional Chinese dress). The box uses bamboo pulp and sugarcane pulp. It is safe for the environment.

2. Eco-Friendly Ice Cream Packaging

MES Meishi and 21cake launched “Gelato 10” made with the real gelato process. The spoon is made from natural green bamboo. It helps stop the ice cream from slipping. The box is made from sugarcane fiber (plant fiber). It feels soft, is easy to carry, and you can reuse it as a small storage box.

3. Eco-Friendly Strawberry Gift Boxes

The Yuzishan Strawberry Ecological Gift Box was designed by the Power Station of Art and the Yuzishan Strawberry Curatorial Experimental Center. It is fully biodegradable and recyclable. The box uses materials like old cardboard boxes, paper tubes, wood pulp, and sugarcane pulp residue.
Normal plastic wraps such as LDPE can take about 50 years to break down. Here, each strawberry is wrapped in corn-fiber paper (PLA), which takes about 1/50 of that time. To reduce extra paper, the designer made five stamps. They are hand-printed inside and outside the box and replace extra instruction sheets.

4. Eco-Friendly Chicken & Duck Egg Packaging

Binhai Memory’s sea duck egg box uses molded paper pulp. A black string around the edge makes it firm. Each small box can stack well because of triangle supports at the bottom. After opening, the egg sits in the center. A cross-shaped groove holds it safely.

5. Gardening Eco-Friendly Flower Pots

The “Midsummer Garden” set includes a 100% biodegradable pulp-molded box, a paper envelope, and a DIY sachet kit. The large stamp on the wrap contains mugwort seeds. After eating the rice dumplings, fill the box with soil and plant the seed stamp. With water and care, mugwort will grow.

6. SEEDS PLAN 2.0

SEEDS PLAN 2.0 is packaging for tree, flower, and fruit seeds. It uses pulp molding to hold seeds and nutrient soil. This protects the seeds during transport. You can put the whole package into the soil. It is fully biodegradable and reduces harm to nature. It is good for home gardeners.

7. Eco-Friendly Skincare Packaging

Sakurahada Glow Box is a skincare brand by Japanese dermatologists and PIR Biolabs at the University of Toyama. The brand follows “no additives” and a simple routine for sensitive skin. The packaging uses eco-friendly materials and a paper-pulp mix. It reduces printing and plastic to match the “simple, no-additive” idea.

8. Dell Eco-Friendly Laptop Packaging

Dell uses bamboo pulp-molded packaging. It is certified compostable. This makes disposal easier and greener for customers.

9. Longtu Festival Eco-Friendly Gift Boxes

The Dazhan Longtu gift box includes coffee, a lunch box, tea bags, and a pen. The message “Fuqi in hand, happiness on the way” sends good wishes and supports a balanced diet. It is a warm New Year gift for professionals.

10. Tea Capital – China Eco-Friendly Tea Series

The Chatu series is inspired by tea farms in Sichuan, Henan, and Fujian. The outer box shows local land shapes and patterns from tea pickers’ hands. The packages are made with molded pulp. They look like traditional Chinese teapots. The colors are red, dark green, and light green, giving a rich, simple look.

11. Everloop Toothbrush Paper

For Everloop, NOS uses thermoforming to make a one-piece flip-lid box. It opens and closes easily. Grooves and buckles keep the toothbrush safe during transport and storage. The box also looks tidy.

12. Hennessy XO Travel Edition – Eco-Friendly Packaging
