Officially introducing their new flagship over-ear headphones, the Beats Studio Pro, is Apple-owned audio firm Beats. This release follows the venerable Beats Studio3 Wireless, which arrived in September 2017, six years after its predecessor.

Four stylish hues make up the Studio Pro: Black, Deep Brown, Navy Blue, and Sand Gray. Technical Requirements and Weight

With 40mm bespoke drivers, the Studio Pro weights 260g - exactly like its predecessor Studio3 Wireless and considerably less than AirPods Max's 384.8g. These drivers are built to produce "almost zero distortion even at high volumes."

  • Circuit board solder consists of 100% recycled tin
  • Packaging is manufactured from 100% fiber-based materials, mostly eco-friendly bamboo and bagasse fibers
  • All materials are derived from recycled materials and sustainably managed forests

FAQ · Questions You May Ask
  • What's new about the Beats Studio Pro compared to older models?

The Beats Studio Pro is Beats' first flagship release in six years, following the Studio3 Wireless from 2017. It features improved UltraPlush ear cushions with integrated leather for all-day comfort, custom 40mm drivers designed for zero distortion at high volumes, and comes in four stylish colors: Black, Deep Brown, Navy Blue, and Sand Gray. It was also shaped with input from designer Samuel Ross and his studio SR_A, marking a fresh design direction for the brand.

  • Are Beats Studio Pro headphones environmentally friendly?

Yes! The Studio Pro shows serious commitment to sustainability, especially appealing to eco-conscious Gen Z buyers. The driver magnets use 100% recycled rare earth materials, circuit board solder is made from 100% recycled tin, and all packaging is 100% fiber-based using eco-friendly bamboo and bagasse fibers from sustainably managed forests. This makes it one of the most sustainable premium headphones on the market.

  • What materials are used in Beats Studio Pro packaging?

Beats Studio Pro packaging is made from 100% fiber-based materials, primarily using bamboo and bagasse fibers. All materials come from recycled sources and sustainably managed forests, completely eliminating plastic from the package. This molded pulp packaging approach follows Apple's environmental standards while providing protective, biodegradable packaging that can be easily recycled or composted after unboxing.

  • Who designed the Beats Studio Pro and where are they made?

The Beats Studio Pro was designed in Los Angeles—you can even find "Designed in Los Angeles" subtly written inside the headband. The product benefited from collaboration with British designer Samuel Ross and his design studio SR_A, who joined Beats in late June. This marks the first product release since Ross came aboard, bringing fresh creative direction while maintaining Beats' iconic visual identity under Apple's ownership.

  • How heavy are the Beats Studio Pro headphones?

The Studio Pro weighs 260g—exactly the same as the previous Studio3 Wireless but significantly lighter than Apple's AirPods Max at 384.8g.
